This time when I came to Guangzhou to apply for a visa and meet old friends, I directly booked my accommodation in Leeden Hotel Guangzhou. It was originally just to be near the the Pearl River New City subway station. Unexpectedly, after three days of staying, it directly refreshed my impression of accommodation in the core area of Guangzhou - it was so relaxed in the most bustling CBD.
I arrived on Friday afternoon with my suitcase. It took me less than six minutes to walk out of Exit B of the subway when I saw the glass door of the hotel. The doorman came up from afar to help me pick up my suitcase. The check-in speed at the front desk was astonishingly fast, and I handed over my room card in three minutes. I also casually stuffed a handwritten note on it, indicating nearby morning tea shops that do not need to queue and sugar shops that open late at night. Even the shortest route to the US visa center was clearly drawn. The moment I entered the room, I felt comfortable. I didn't feel cramped as usual in CBD hotels. The french window faced the wutong all over the street. The afternoon sun fell on the desk obliquely, and even the air was filled with a faint fragrance. There was no sense of fatigue.
The next morning, I went to the US visa center and followed the route given by the front desk. It took less than ten minutes to arrive, and I didn't feel dizzy or disoriented like my friend had said before. It was just after nine o'clock. I followed the instructions on the note and turned into a Laoguang morning tea shop in the alley. The skin of the shrimp dumplings was thin enough to see the shrimp. There was not enough material in the submarine porridge. The nearby Abe also enthusiastically recommended hidden menus for me, which had no sense of commercialism in the tourist area.
In the afternoon, I asked an old friend to take a walk in Huacheng Square. I walked slowly from the hotel for only ten minutes. When I passed K11, I went in for a half hour art exhibition. In the evening, I sat by the the Pearl River to blow the evening wind. I watched the lights of the Guangzhou Tower light up. On the way back to the hotel, I bought a double skin milk. I didn't even have to take a taxi. In the evening, when I returned to the hotel, the front desk handed me a free bowl of mung bean paste, saying that it was due to the recent hot weather in Guangzhou, which helped to cool down the guests. The sweet taste just relieved the heat of the day.
What surprised me the most was the day I left, when I was packing my luggage, I left my notebook with old photos by my pillow. It wasn't until I checked out and walked to the subway station that I realized it. I called the hotel with a try and see attitude, and within ten minutes, the staff chased after me, handed me the notebook, and smiled, saying, "We know this thing is important to you, so we quickly brought it over to you.
When I came to Guangzhou, I always thought that the Pearl River New Town was a place to catch the subway, meetings and clocking in. This time Leeden Hotel Guangzhou, I found that the most comfortable way to open the city was to walk around slowly without rushing to catch the journey. Next time I come to Guangzhou, I will definitely book here directly. After all, it's really rare to find a hotel that combines convenience and human touch so well.Show more
As a business person who travels in Guangzhou all the year round, my first requirement for the hotel is always "ease of transportation". This time, I temporarily booked Leeden Hotel Guangzhou, and directly included it in my preferred list of business trips in Guangzhou after staying - after all, the Pearl River New Town Hotel, which can achieve this level of convenience in the surrounding area, is really rare.
The location of the hotel is completely on the golden point of commuting. It comes out from the B1 exit of the Pearl River New City Metro Station, without going on the overpass or going around the complex underground passage. It takes 6 minutes to walk along Huacheng Road to the hotel door. I dragged my 24 inch suitcase without even getting stuck on the bumpy road, unlike when I stayed at other hotels and climbed steps on the pedestrian overpass with my luggage. What's even more amazing is that there is a dedicated ride hailing stop right outside the hotel. During the morning rush hour, I rushed to the Pazhou Exhibition Hall and called a car on my phone 5 minutes in advance. The car parked right in front of me when I went downstairs, and I didn't even have a chance to wait for the car under the sun. It was much easier for me to stop the car half an hour earlier than before.
The surrounding facilities are completely tailored for business travelers. There is a 24-hour convenience store within a 3-minute walk. If you are short of printing paper and want a cup of hot coffee, you can buy it by taking a turn downstairs; There are three local morning tea shops hidden within five minutes' walk. I hurry downstairs before 8:00 on weekdays. I don't have to queue up in the online red shop at all. I can order a basket of shrimp dumplings and drink a bowl of hot boat porridge when I sit down. After a leisurely meal, I shake back to the hotel. There are 40 minutes left before the meeting time agreed with the customer. Even the breakfast is leisurely.
The efficiency of going to major core locations is even more surprising. Take the subway station 1 directly to Guangzhou Tower. I took a long walk in the evening after finishing my work, just in time for the orange sunset by the the Pearl River; Within a 10 minute walk, you can reach Huacheng Square, K11, and Zhengjia Square, where you can invite clients for business dinners. From high-end Chaoshan hotpot to authentic Cantonese style roasted meat, you can choose from more than a dozen shops within walking distance that do not cause trouble. There is no need to take a taxi to cross districts during rush hour, and the saved traffic time is enough to go back to the hotel and organize half a version of the PPT. Even to Guangzhou East Station, the journey takes less than 15 minutes. If you want to catch the early high-speed train, you don't have to rush out two hours in advance. You can have the joy of sleeping for half an hour longer. Business travelers really understand in seconds.
I have stayed in many hotels in the Pearl River New City before, either it is a dozen minutes' walk away from the subway, or there are all high-end shopping malls around, and even a grounded breakfast shop can't be found. The most rare thing about Leeden Hotel Guangzhouis that it hides "convenience" in every detail - no need to rush, no need to take detours, and no need to waste time on commuting. For those who travel frequently, finding such a peaceful place to stay in the bustling CBD is already the most rare sense of happiness. Next time I come to Guangzhou to coordinate projects, I will definitely lock the rooms here as soon as possible.Show more
